The M/Y Sea Serpent departs from Ras Galeb to dive a wonderful mixture of wrecks, coral and reefs in the middle south Red Sea. Sites may include Elphinstone Reef, Sataya Reef where a variety of pelagics are often found and there are occasional trips to visit the unspoiled Brother Islands. There will also be extended trips to cover the marine park Islands and the reefs of St Johns in the DEEP South.
During the Winter months or by request at any time the Sea Serpent can dive the Northern area of the Red Sea where the wrecks like the Thistlegorm can be found.
Another popular route for those who want to cover a larger area is Brothers Daedalus Elphinstone - now available on one week trips

Island Adventure
Brothers – Daedalus
Not sure which route to take? Too many places to see
and not enough time to dedicate to them all? Then this is the itinerary for you!
The Brothers’ Islands, tops of two undersea mountains rising from the depth,
are located about 50 N.M. offshore, at the height of the town of Quesir. A part
of the Marine Park, they offer breath-taking underwater scenery, wall diving
along their whole perimeter, and the possibility to spot a wide variety of
pelagics.
Their walls are covered in soft corals of all colours, black corals and forests
of fan corals, creating a true feast for the eyes. Big tuna, shoals of jack fish
and snappers cruise in the blue, accompanied by hammerheads, grey reef sharks,
silvertip, silky and oceanic white tip sharks, and mantas. The thresher shark,
an oceanic species, very rarely spotted close to reefs, circles the walls of the
Brothers on a regular basis. The huge and spectacular moonfish can also be
observed near the reefs. Nobody can ever get tired of diving the Brother
Islands. Even wreck lovers get spoilt on the Brothers. The Aida II, an Egyptian
supply vessel, and the Numidia, a cargo ship, lie on the walls of the Big
Brother. They are covered in soft and hard corals, and are a real treat.
Daedalus Reef, also part of the Marine Park, is the most offshore of all the
reefs in the Egyptian Red Sea. It is a big, oval reef with a lighthouse, and its
perimeter of walls offers some of the most stunning diving in the Red Sea.
Typical of Daedalus are its huge and pristine hard coral formations, and the
possibility to spot schooling hammerheads. Thresher sharks, mantas and whale
sharks can also be spotted here.
Last but not least, this itinerary finishes with Elphinstone, a truly legendary
reef, with its north and south plateaus, and its walls covered in soft corals.
Hammerheads and grey reef sharks can also be spotted here on a regular basis.
