The 102ft Aqua Cat catamaran, was constructed in 2001 and offers luxury accommodation, a spacious main salon and an extremely smooth ride. Her ability to cruise at a speed of 14-knots will get you to dive sites quickly while her 35-ft beam will ensure a smooth ride. The eleven passenger cabins are some of the largest of any liveaboard in the world.

M/Y Sheena diving the Maldives
LIVEABOARDS OUT OF MEEMU
Meemu is one of the 5 most southerly atolls in the
Maldives, with very little tourism development. This itinerary follows a
combination of established dive sites alongside exploratory dive sites that have
rarely or never been dived until now. This is challenging and pioneering
diving, characterised by waters that are abundant in the marine life one expects
from the Maldives.
Meemu, Thaa and Laamu atoll itineraries are conducted from M/V Sheena, the first liveaboard to operate in these waters. This area will appeal to divers looking to travel well beyond the tourist map and experience some truly original diving. Access to Medhufushi is via Male and involves an internal flight by seaplane.

Monsoon, launched in 2007 is the most advanced Maldives Liveaboard. Her 36.5m steel construction gives a large and stable platform from which to explore the whole of the divers paradise that is the Maldives.

Nautilus One and Two combines the best features of traditional Maldivian design with the requirements of today’s diver. She is owned and operated by an Austrian-Maldivian partnership, two friends who have spent some 15 years working and diving in the Maldives before launching Nautilus One in 1999. At 30 metres in length and with a 9 metre beam she is larger and more spacious than most liveaboards currently operating in the area, and stands out for her appealing design, excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail. There are seven large guest cabins each with private bathroom, 4 twin cabins 3 double cabins. Each cabin has its own fan and windows as well as air conditioning. There are extensive deck areas for sunbathing or relaxing with a book in the shade.

M/Y Djibouti Divers 1 diving Djibouti (Whale sharks)
Trip cost includes the following:
Scheduled flights onboard Daallo Airlines from London Gatwick. Departing on
Wednesday evening flying to Djibouti via Paris (you do not get off the plane ).
The flight is 8 hours and arrives the following morning.
On arrival in Djibouti you are met by Djibouti Divers 1 representatives and
taken to the boat. You start diving on Thursday which will begin as a check
dive.
You will spend 6 nights onboard the boat coming back into port on Tuesday
night. Divers will do up to 3 dives a day, as well as snorkelling.

Cyclone has long been a favourite with UK divers, the first real luxury liveaboard operated by Tornado Marine, she was voted “Liveaboard of the Year” in 2003. After a complete rebuild at the end of 2007 she has now returned to work on our Northern Red Sea routes out of Sharm and also Djibouti for the Whale Shark season of 2008-09. Whilst she has retained her revolutionary sleek lines and distinctive appearance from the outside, regular guests would be hard pressed to recognise anything once onboard. In line with the latest boats in the fleet she now boasts an upstairs saloon complete with bar and plasma screen, a totally refitted restaurant with individual dining chairs, and an extensive sun deck complete with sun beds and Jacuzzi. The work was not confined just to the interior layout.
She has been fitted with new more powerful engines, giving her better
cruising speed and comfort, and also new generators. In order to
accommodate the changes her hull length has been increased and she now
measures an impressive 34 metres overall. A true Red Sea classic
liveaboard brought totally up to today’s high standards!

Bay of Tadjoura and Whale Sharks

Between the months of October - January Bay of Tadjoura Djibouti is home to resting migrating whale sharks. Guests have the chance to dive and snorkel on a daily basis with these gentle giants in an area known as the "Devils Cauldron" It is common to see many whale sharks including juvenile's who stay within the safe confines of the Djibouti coast line. However its not just the whale sharks that the Djibouti waters bless divers with. During the same months sightings of Manta Rays, Pilot Whales, Dolphins and sharks have all been spotted. Grey Reef sharks and nurse sharks are the most common but its not unheard of to see tigers and hammerheads. |
